Come join our group of Worldloppet Skiers/ World Adventurers for an exiting trip “Down Under”. You will experience the most breathtaking scenery of New Zealand’s South Island with the snow capped mountains of the Southern Alps, picturesque villages and old mining towns . You will explore the provincial Capitol of Christchurch with its well preserved reminders of Colonial days. Besides all that you get to ski in August! In New Zealand, at the Waiorau Snow Farm http://www.snowfarmnz.com/ you will find 55K of cross country ski trails – perfectly groomed for both classic and skating. The Snow Farm is a popular training ground for National Teams from Europe and North America. Our five-day stay in near-by Wanaka culminates with optional participation in the Merino Muster Ski Marathon  This is the best on-snow training opportunity for those Worldloppet Skiers planning to ski the Kangaroo Hoppet (www.hoppet.com.au) in Australia the following weekend.

Flight Arrangements are with Air New Zealand and will originate out of Los Angeles. Air New Zealand will, upon request, book ad-ons from your home city at the applicable airfare at the time of ticketing (no guaranteed or discounted fare). However, you may be better off using frequent flyer miles or shop for internet specials to/from LA. If you have time to burn you may even want to schedule a lay over in or near LA prior to departing for the long flight to New Zealand.
