Cost and Payment Schedule
Estimated Costs
Sjusjöen 3/12-3/20/2011:
Approximately $2,200 (+Airport taxes and fuel/security surcharges in effect at the time of ticketing). Cost includes airfare MSP-Oslo-MSP, transfers Airport-Sjusjöen-Airport, seven days accommodations with breakfast, trail lunch and dinner.
Post-Trip Option: Hut to Hut 3/20-3/27/2011:
Additional cost will depend on final itinerary but will probably be in the $1,300-1,400 range.
Pre Trip Option:
Additional cost will depend on choice of accommodations.
Not included in the Trip Costs are: Airport/custom taxes, airline imposed fuel or security surcharges, luggage fees, travel insurance premium, cost of passports, all items of a personal nature including wine, beer, liquor, soda, mineral water, room service, laundry, telephone/faxes, local transportation unless stated, race registrations and race transportation, optional sight seeing excursions and entrance fees, additional costs related to airline delays and cancellations. Extraordinary costs related to emergency, accidents and cancelled or delayed flights are the sole responsibility of the participant and/or their travel insurance plan.
This trip is sponsored by the North Star Ski Touring Club and a $20 annual membership fee is required. If you are not already a member, please download the membership form from the North Star Ski Touring Club's website (www.north-stars.org) and mail, with the dues, directly to the Club.
Payment Schedule
Deposit of $400/person is due with registration.
$1,000 due by 11/01/10
Balance due by 1/15/11
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Cancellation prior to 11/01/2010: Full Refund
Cancellation 11/01/2010-1/15/11: $1,400 is NON-refundable.
Cancellation after 1/15/11: No Refund
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you purchase trip insurance. You may at times be away from roads and medical facilities and minor injuries could become expensive if you need help getting to a doctor or hospital. Unused accommodations and other costs are contracted for in advance and not refundable when cancelled after the above dates. PLEASE NOTE. Some insurance companies may have a clause that preexisting medical conditions are excluded unless you purchase your insurance within 7 days of your initial deposit.
