Peer Gynt World Ventures, formed in 1992, organizes hiking and cross country ski trips worldwide, including my native Norway. I wanted to show my American friends unique places not typically found in travel books or promoted by tour operators - and we wanted to incorporate it with some of our favorite activities.

2012 Norwegian Birkebeiner Registration
Online "Quota" Registration opens October 19, 2011 and closes October 24th for:

• Norwegians who have skied the race 5+ times
• Foreign skiers living abroad (1500 spots)
• 16-24 year old skiers (300 spots)

General Registration opens November 2, 2011.
Last year the race filled in 18 minutes.
